Comparison of two 7 inch Central hens and the L.G. Wright copy

(Click photos for larger pictures.)

7" Central Glass Hen on low-rider base
7" Central Glass Hen on angled-side base
7" L.G. Wright Glass Hen on angled-side base

(Only the amberina and red Wright hens have drooping beaks -- caused because of the re-heating required to cause the color to strike.)
The eggs are the same size as on the other Central lid -- this is just a closer photo.
The differences between Central and Wright hens are the clump of grass between the two eggs on the back side of the lid. Also, the Wright eggs are slightly smaller than the Central eggs.
These two lids are identical.
These two lids are identical (so I am using the same photo here).

Central hen on the "angled side" base -- Measurements: BASE 7" long by 5 3/4" wide;

Measurements: BASE 7 1/8" long by 5 5/8" wide;
BOTTOM (measured from edges of bottom rim) 4 11/16" long by 3 11/16" wide;
base HEIGHT 1 7/8"; TOTAL height (at tail) 6";
LID 6 5/8" long by 5 1/8" wide;
LID length from tail to beak 6 5/8";
MAXIMUM length 7".  (Extra photo)
Note: Measurements will vary slightly from hen to hen. These are the measurements that I took on these hens, only. There is always some margin of error. (When I find my calipers I will re-measure these.)

Note 2: The bases are as old as the lids. Both Central hens appear to be the same age -- they have the same signs of age, appearance and characteristics of the glass.

Note 3: On the bases of all three of these hens (both Central hens and the Wright hen) the mold seams are located about 2 inches to either side of the center of the ends. (i.e. at approximately the 1 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 7 o'clock, 11 o'clock positions if the oval base is held vertical). One mold seam is visible on the Central bases (the same place on both) and the other three seams are almost invisible. All four mold seams on the Wright base are visible.
